Black Magic Motor Yacht

A refit in 2021 brought Black Magic up to her current form, and twelve people can be aboard her for a day out on the water. She is a 75ft (22m) motor yacht from Custom Made, launched in 2007, with 450 litres of fuel an hour passing through her engines.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins take six overnight, a king bed in one and twin beds in the other two, so a couple has a double and four others have beds of their own. A crew of three runs her, two guests to each of them, with the cooking and the tender in their hands.

Comfort under way

Her twin MAN engines cruise at 24 knots and top out at 35, so the miles between anchorages take less out of the day.

On deck

The swim platform makes the step from deck to sea a short one, and she is air-conditioned throughout, with Wi-Fi aboard to keep everyone in contact.

Water toys

A Seabob and a paddleboard travel with her, there is a floating mat for the surface and snorkelling gear for anyone who wants to look below it, and the tender takes guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Black Magic keeps her home port in Sardinia and cruises Italy, with July and August her peak months.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends who want six berths and the option of a larger party joining them on the water. Three days is the shortest hire she takes, so time aboard in Italy can be counted in days rather than weeks.
