Gulf Motor Yacht

A refit in 2021 gave Gulf a thorough going-over, and the 91ft (28m) Cheoy Lee motor yacht, launched in 2000, is the better for it.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Santorini, in Greece, and her cruising grounds take in both Greece and Cyprus, so a week aboard is not tied to a single coastline.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins each hold a king bed, and eight guests sleep aboard. Six crew run her, close to a crew member for every guest. The cabins are air-conditioned and Wi-Fi reaches through the boat, so nobody aboard is out of touch.

Comfort under way

Gulf cruises at 14 knots and holds 18 in reserve, and July and August are her peak months.

On deck

The deck jacuzzi holds warm water out in the open air. Her swim platform meets the sea at deck level, which turns a swim into a step down and an easy climb back up.

Water toys

A 28ft Rockmarine tender carries guests ashore, and a jet ski gives a rider something faster to take out. A kayak, snorkelling gear and fishing tackle are aboard as well, for paddling, for looking below the surface and for dropping a line.

Charter notes

Gulf suits a family or a group of friends taking a hire together, and with twelve able to be aboard for a day on the water, the party can be larger than the number sleeping in the cabins.
