CC Motor Yacht
About CC
Twin Volvo IPS drives give CC a top speed of 30 knots, and she uses 190 litres of fuel an hour – the two figures that set the tempo of a week aboard this 63ft (20m) motor yacht, a Bluegame BGX63 of Italian design built in 2025.
Water toys
A three-seat Yamaha FX SVHO Cruiser jet ski travels with her, and a permit is needed to ride it. Two Seabobs pull two guests along under the surface at the same time, a SUP board carries a single paddler, and a towable sofa and a donut are there to be dragged behind a boat at speed. An inflatable pool gives a place to float in the sea, snorkelling gear is aboard for looking below the waterline, and a Pirelli X350 tender runs guests ashore.
Where she cruises
Her home port is St Tropez, and she works from Port de Cogolin in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, a bay that opens onto the Côte d'Azur. Her cruising grounds are France and Monaco, so a guest has a long coastline and a second country within her reach.
Accommodation and crew
Three cabins sleep six guests – a full-beam owner's suite with a queen bed, a VIP cabin with a double, and a twin – which puts a proper bed under each of the six, and by day she carries twelve. Her crew of two are a captain and a hostess-stewardess, with the height of her season falling in July and August.
Comfort under way
A gyroscopic stabiliser is fitted, and it works with the boat stopped as well as moving, so she sits flatter at anchor and rolls less on a passage. At her cruising speed of 19 knots the miles between anchorages pass quickly.
On deck
Her layout opens the inside to the outside and lets daylight fill the saloon, with the living spaces carrying on outdoors without a hard line between them. A generous sunbathing area gives room to lie out, and the hydraulic swim platform lowers towards the sea, which brings the water to within a step of the deck.
Charter notes
CC suits a family or a party of friends, six sleeping aboard and twelve on board for a day out, and she can be hired for a single day, for three days or for a whole week. Her hostess-stewardess cooks aboard and builds the menus around what the party likes to eat, so being looked after on CC includes the food as much as the boat.
