Idylle Superyacht

Twin Caterpillar diesels move Idylle at a cruising 11 knots on 250 litres an hour, with 20 knots in hand. She is a 120ft (37m) superyacht, built and styled by Benetti in 1996 and refitted in 2021.

Water toys

Nine toys come with the hire: a Seadoo F5 jet ski, two Seabobs, two sets of water skis, a wakeboard, five Jobe towables, a paddleboard, and snorkelling and fishing gear, so several people can be in the water at the same time. A 17ft Zodiac handles the trips ashore.

Where she cruises

Lefkada, in Greece, is home port for Idylle, and she is the third longest of the thirty yachts based there; her cruising stays within Greece, with July and August the peak of her calendar.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep in five cabins – a master suite with a king bed on the main deck, two VIP cabins with queen beds and two twins – and seven crew look after them, more than a crew member for every two guests aboard.

Comfort under way

Stabilisers damp her roll with the engines turning and steady her at zero speed as well, so there is less movement underfoot on passage and again once she has stopped.

On deck

The sundeck carries a jacuzzi in the open air, the aft deck gives a broad outdoor space, and a swim platform makes getting into the sea and back aboard easy.

Charter notes

Idylle charters by the week and is taken whole, which suits a family or two couples; by day she can host twelve, room for a few more than her overnight party.
