Moondance Motor Yacht

A crew of five looks after eight guests aboard Moondance, whose interior came from Zuretti and whose exterior lines were drawn by Stefano Righini. She is a 95ft (29m) Azimut motor yacht, built in 1994 and refitted in 2007.

Water toys

A beach tender runs guests ashore from wherever she anchors, and snorkelling equipment is kept aboard, which puts the shallows around her within reach of swimmers.

Where she cruises

Sardinia is Moondance's home port, and her cruising ground reaches along Italy, into France and Monaco, and out to Malta, mixing island coast with mainland shore.

Accommodation and crew

Two of her four cabins carry queen beds and two are laid out as twins, which covers the eight who sleep aboard. Five crew look after them – July and August are her busiest months – so a group of eight is never short of help.

Comfort under way

Her cruising pace is 13 knots, with 19 at the top end, and air conditioning and Wi-Fi reach through the boat, so the group stays comfortable below and in touch with home.

Charter notes

Moondance suits a family or a group of friends who want the sea close and a crew aboard to run her. Day charter is offered as well, and on a day hire twelve can be aboard rather than eight, so more friends can share the water.
