Julie II Motor Yacht

Ten toys travel with Julie II, among them a Seadoo jet ski, a Seabob and a Subwing, so a charter aboard her is built around the water. She is a 96ft (29m) motor yacht from Astondoa, built in 2001 and given a refit in 2017.

Water toys

A 13ft Williams tender handles the trips ashore, and water skis, a wakeboard and a towable donut are aboard for being pulled along behind. The paddleboard, the two-seater kayak that takes a pair out at once and the snorkelling gear cover the quieter side of the same water.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Marbella, and she cruises the coast of Spain, with July and August her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Four staterooms sleep ten guests. The cabins run to a master, a VIP and two twins, with a pullman berth as well. A crew of four runs her.

Comfort under way

Stabilisers work at anchor and under way, so there is less roll whether she is stopped or moving, and she cruises at 16 knots with 22 knots available, using 390 litres an hour.

On deck

A swim platform gives swimmers a direct way into the sea and back aboard, and air conditioning throughout keeps the cabins comfortable.

Charter notes

Julie II makes sense as a family rental or for two couples travelling together, and with twelve aboard by day she can carry more people than she sleeps.
