Baccarat Motor Yacht

Five double cabins, the owner's among them, each carry a queen bed, so the ten guests Baccarat sleeps overnight are all in doubles. She came out of the Amer yard in 2022, a 97ft (29m) motor yacht with naval architecture by Permare and an interior by Stefano Tini, and her main salon is the indoor room where the whole group can sit down together.

Comfort under way

Four Volvo Penta diesels give her 28 knots at the top and a 21-knot cruise, and she uses 500 litres an hour. Stabilisers work at rest and with way on, holding down the roll on a planing hull built in GRP.

On deck

A jacuzzi on deck holds warm water in the open air, and between the sun deck, the foredeck and the aft main deck there are three outdoor areas for a group to spread across.

Water toys

A 19ft tender runs the group ashore, and the swim platform turns a swim into a few steps down. Paddleboards and an inflatable kayak give a way off the boat that needs no engine, while water skis, a wakeboard and body boards cover the faster end, with floating toys and snorkelling gear for a look below the surface.

Where she cruises

Antibes in France is Baccarat's home port, and she cruises the coasts of France, Monaco and Italy, three shorelines within reach of a single base.

Accommodation and crew

A crew of four looks after the ten who sleep aboard, and by day that number rises to twelve. Air conditioning throughout, WiFi and satellite television keep the interior easy to live in, her busiest months being July and August.

Charter notes

Baccarat suits couples travelling together or a family of up to ten, and while a week is the standard booking, three days is the shortest hire she takes.
