AS1 Power Boat
About AS1
Up to ten guests can be aboard AS1 for a day on the water, and she came out of a refit in 2025. She is a 60ft (18m) Alfamarine power boat from 2008, drawn around speed and finished with care.
On deck
The cockpit is wide, with a sofa to sit on and a sun shade that lifts off when it is not wanted. Her passerelle and swim ladder both retract, so stepping ashore or climbing back out of the sea is straightforward. There is a shower with towels, and the refrigerator holds snacks and cold drinks.
Water toys
Snorkelling gear travels with her, so anyone curious about what lies under the surface only has to get in.
Where she cruises
Amalfi is the home port of AS1 and Italy her cruising ground, with Capri and Naples both in range, and July and August are her busiest months.
Accommodation and crew
Two air-conditioned cabins sleep four overnight and Wi-Fi reaches through the boat; two crew for those four puts a crew member with every pair of guests.
Comfort under way
The monohedron hull carries a deep V right back to the stern, which is what keeps her sure-footed when she is pushed; she cruises at 40 knots and has 60 at the top. The speed has not cost her headroom below, where the finish is modern and pared back.
Charter notes
AS1 suits two couples who would rather cross this stretch of Italy at pace than take a long time over it, and she is offered by the half day as well as the whole day, so a short hire works as neatly as a full one out of port.
