G Five Motor Yacht

By day G Five takes twelve guests out on the water, and five of them can stay aboard for the night, which means the party on board for an afternoon can be larger than the party who wakes up on her. She is an 83ft (25m) motor yacht from AB Yachts, delivered in 2021.

Water toys

A Seabob and a SUP board travel with her, each taking a single rider at a time, along with water skis and snorkelling gear, and a 12ft tender to run people ashore.

Where she cruises

Sardinia, in Italy, is her home port, and her cruising reaches Italy, France, Monaco and Malta, four countries of coastline to choose between.

Accommodation and crew

Two cabins, a king and a queen, are air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi carries through the boat. Three crew run her, her peak months being July and August, and with five guests at most sleeping aboard that works out at better than a crew member for every two.

G Five cruises at 40 knots with 55 on tap, so more of the coast comes within reach of a single day out.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends who want the run of a fast boat without a crowd sleeping aboard, and she can be taken for a day, for three days, or for a week's hire, so the length of the trip is set by the group rather than fixed.
