Genny Luxury Catamaran

Sunreef Yachts drew Genny inside and out, and that single hand runs through the whole 80ft (24m) luxury catamaran: a bright saloon with a long couch and a bar corner, and a central lounge under panoramic glass that opens to both the bow terrace and the cockpit.

On deck

The forward deck has a lounge of its own, shielded from sun and wind, while aft the saloon opens into a big cockpit that carries on to a broad platform. The dining table seats ten, enough for everyone sleeping aboard, and the swim platform leaves the sea a step away.

Water toys

An Axopar cabin tender carries guests ashore, and she carries a Sea-Doo Spark jet ski, a Seabob, a paddleboard, a kayak, a wakeboard and a towable donut, with two inflatable platforms giving swimmers somewhere to climb out of the water.

Where she cruises

Genny keeps her home port at El Gouna, on the Red Sea coast of Egypt, and she cruises in Egypt and in Greece, so the Greek islands are within her reach too.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep in five cabins, two with king beds and three with queens, and by day she can carry twelve. Six crew look after them, better than one for every two guests aboard.

Comfort under way

Her hulls are composite, she cruises at 9 knots with 14 knots in hand, and she burns 130 litres an hour. Air conditioning runs throughout, and a satellite link keeps Wi-Fi and television going well away from shore.

Charter notes

Genny suits a family or two couples who want deck space and a crew to run the boat. Bookings go by the week, by three days or by a single day, her busiest months being January, February and March, July and August, then November and December, so the hire fits the days a group has.
