Agata Blu Luxury Catamaran

Agata Blu uses 90 litres of fuel an hour under power, and that figure is a fair place to start with a 74ft (23m) luxury catamaran that Sunreef Yachts built in 2023, because the rest of her follows the same idea of a measured pace over outright speed.

Where she cruises

Mykonos is her home port and Greece is where she works, so a week of hire aboard Agata Blu is a week in Greek waters, with July and August the two months at the height of her season.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep ten guests overnight and she can carry twelve by day, so the party can be larger in daylight than it is at night, and a crew of four looks after them.

Comfort under way

Her two hulls carry her at a cruising speed of 8 knots with 10 knots in hand, a pace at which a coastline goes past slowly enough to be watched rather than glimpsed.

On deck

A swim platform puts the sea a single step from her deck. Inside, air conditioning keeps her cool, and Wi-Fi keeps a line open to the shore.

Water toys

She carries nine toys. A Seadoo jet ski takes a single rider out and there is a Seabob besides; two paddleboards mean two people can paddle at the same time, a wakeboard and a towable are there to be pulled behind, and a floating island gives somewhere to lie on the water itself. Fishing gear and snorkelling gear complete the count, so what lives beneath her can be fished for or looked at up close.

Agata Blu suits two couples or a family who want Greece from the water at an unhurried pace, by the week or for a shorter stay, and her 17ft Highfield tender is the boat that takes them ashore and brings them back.
