About YGO

Sunreef Yachts drew both the hull lines and the interior of YGO, a 63ft (19m) sailing catamaran launched in 2022, and the saloon gives views right around her, so the water stays in sight from inside. The finish is modern and pared back rather than fussy.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests, a master with a king bed and three more with queen beds, and each has its own bathroom with a shower. Three crew look after those eight, and for a day on the water she can carry ten.

Comfort under way

She sails, and a pair of Volvo D3 engines takes over when the wind does not, for a cruise of 7 knots and 10 knots at most, on 56 litres an hour.

On deck

The aft deck is broad and shaded enough for lunch and dining in the open air, with wooden steps down each side of it to the swim platform, so the sea is a few paces from the table. The flybridge is laid out for sun, with room out of it as well.

Water toys

An AirBuddy dive system travels with YGO, along with snorkelling sets for ten, so a whole party can go in at the same time. Two Seabob F5S, a Fliteboard, a Jobe sea scooter, water skis, a wakeboard, a kayak, two paddleboards and a three-person inflatable sofa fill out the rest, the Zar 49SL tender runs ashore, and two electric folding bikes come along for time on land.

Where she cruises

Mallorca is her home port, and she cruises in Spain.

Charter notes

YGO suits a family or a group of friends, up to eight of them, with divers among the party, and she is available for hire by the week or over three days, July and August her peak months.
