Feel the Blue Sailing Catamaran

A Seadoo jet ski and fishing tackle are among the eight things Feel the Blue carries for time in the water, and all of it lives on a 59ft (18m) sailing catamaran Sunreef Yachts drew and built in 2018.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Sicily, in Italy, and Italy, France and Monaco are all within her cruising range, which gives a group a choice of coast rather than a single bay.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests, air-conditioned and with Wi-Fi aboard, and a crew of three sails her and keeps her running, so nobody in the party is working the boat.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 8 knots and tops out at 14, and her twin hulls hold the deck level rather than heeled, which makes moving between anchorages easy on anyone who dislikes sailing at an angle.

Water toys

The beach tender handles the trips ashore, SUP boards and a kayak the paddling, a wakeboard and towable toys the faster water, and snorkelling gear is aboard for looking at what lies beneath her.

Charter notes

Feel the Blue makes an easy hire for a family, or for friends sharing the boat as couples, and a day charter is an option as well, with twelve aboard rather than the ten she sleeps.
