Roxy Power Catamaran

Three cabins, each with a queen bed, sleep six guests aboard Roxy, so the party that stays overnight is three couples, or a family of six, across three proper doubles. She is a 53ft (16m) power catamaran from Leopard Catamarans, built in 2023.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Mahe, and the Seychelles are the only waters she works, with the turn of the year, December through to March, her peak season. She is offered by charter for a week, for three days or for a single day, all of it within the Seychelles.

Accommodation and crew

A crew of two runs her, her captain among them, and she is air-conditioned throughout, so the inside of her stays cool with the doors shut. Toilet and shower facilities are aboard, and a galley in which meals are cooked, so a day or a week on her does not depend on going ashore to eat.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 14 knots and has 23 in reserve, so the distance between anchorages is covered quickly.

On deck

The cockpit is her outdoor room, a swimming ladder makes the water easy to get into and out of, and a cockpit shower rinses the salt off before anyone goes inside. An audio system gives the party its own music aboard.

Water toys

A RIB tender runs guests ashore, and she carries snorkelling gear, so a swim off the ladder can include a look at what lies below the surface.

Charter notes

Roxy suits a family or a group of friends, and she is not limited to the six who sleep aboard: for a day hire she takes up to twenty, with her captain in charge, so a large party can be together on the water for the day.
