Stephanie Sailing Catamaran

The galley aboard Stephanie is built around an island in the saloon, so cooking happens in the living space rather than out of sight, and the gym equipment she carries keeps a training routine within reach through a week afloat. She is a 67ft (20m) Fountaine Pajot sailing catamaran, an Alegria 67 built in 2024.

Accommodation and crew

A queen cabin and three doubles sleep eight guests, each of the four cabins having its own bathroom, and she takes the same eight by day. Four crew look after them – a captain, a chef, a deckhand and a stewardess – which on eight guests is a crew member for every two.

Comfort under way

Two hulls keep her level, and under sail or under her two Yanmar engines she cruises at 9.5 knots and will make 11 when pressed, while windscoops draw the breeze down into the cabins.

On deck

Her upper deck is roomy and open to the air, a bimini gives shade from the sun, and there is a hammock to lie in. Trampoline seats on the foredeck are her open-air seating forward, a swim platform puts the sea a step away, and a deck shower rinses the salt off afterwards.

Water toys

Her Highfield dinghy with a 70 HP Yamaha outboard takes guests ashore, and for towing there are three sets of water skis, two adult and a child's, a wakeboard for adults, a kneeboard, a tube and an Airstream towable that seats three. Two paddleboards, a canoe and two Seabobs go with her, so two can paddle out together, and there is snorkelling gear for looking beneath the surface. At anchor an inflatable sea pool and an inflatable island can be put in the water, with eight Connelly noodles to float on, and Scrabble, Jenga and backgammon travel with her too.

Where she cruises

Stephanie has her home port at Mykonos and cruises Greece, with July and August the months of her peak, and because her desalination plant makes all her fresh water from the sea, with the drinking water purified, she can stay out among remote anchorages without calling at a port to fill her tanks.

Charter notes

Stephanie suits a family, or eight friends, spending a week in Greece, and she is available to hire for three days as well; guests' pets are welcome aboard. Her air conditioning runs at night on lithium batteries charged by solar panels rather than on a generator, so the eight aboard sleep in a boat that stays silent through the night.
