Aloia Sailing Catamaran

Twelve guests can be aboard for a day on the water, and Aloia covers it on 20 litres of fuel an hour under engine. She is a 67ft (20m) Fountaine Pajot sailing catamaran, built in 2020.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight overnight in a king and three queen beds, all air-conditioned, with Wi-Fi reaching across the boat. A crew of three runs her.

Comfort under way

She settles at 8 knots and finds 10 at her fastest, an unhurried pace for moving from anchorage to anchorage.

On deck

A jacuzzi sits out in the open air, so there is warm water to sink into without going below.

Water toys

Two Seabobs, two kayaks and two paddleboards mean pairs can head off across the bay together, while four towable donuts ride behind the 15ft Highfield tender, which also takes people ashore. Two sets of water skis, a wakeboard and a kiteboard cover the faster end of the day, and there is fishing tackle aboard as well as snorkelling gear for reading the seabed from the surface.

Where she cruises

Athens is her home port, and she cruises the coasts and islands of Greece, with July and August her peak months.

Charter notes

A family or a group of friends hiring her get Greece at sea level: eight sleep aboard in their own cabins, and the swim platform turns every stop into a swim, with a step down to the water rather than a scramble.
