Saba 50 Sailing Catamaran

The sailing catamaran Saba 50, measuring 50ft (16m), was built in 2014 by Fountaine Pajot and refreshed with a refit in 2018. She features 5 cabins for 10 guests, with day charters welcoming 12. A crew of 3 handles sailing operations and guest service with equal skill.

The 2018 refit updated Saba 50’s interiors, rigging, and onboard systems while preserving the responsive sailing characteristics that define a Fountaine Pajot catamaran. At 9 knots, she makes comfortable progress between islands and anchorages. Twin-hull stability and shallow draft remain key advantages – guests enjoy a rock-steady platform and access to shallow bays that deeper vessels cannot approach. Refreshed cabins make extended stays comfortable and welcoming.

On the Water

6 water toys including SUP boards and kayaks keep days active and varied. The Beach Tender runs guests to shore for village walks, trailheads, and waterfront restaurants. Learn the basics of sailing or relax on the trampoline net – the crew accommodates both approaches with ease.

Routes & Season

Saba 50 charters across French Polynesia, New Caledonia and Fiji in the South Pacific, repositioning seasonally for the best sailing conditions. The recommended charter window is Jan, Feb, Dec, when wind patterns and water temperatures align for exceptional sailing.
