HYP3 Power Catamaran

A Thai massage therapist can be brought aboard HYP3 for the day, and the rest of the service comes with her: a cocktail and a cold towel on arrival, a photographer who follows the party, and a resident DJ who takes over the upper deck as the sun goes down. She is a Custom Made power catamaran of 86ft (26m), built in 2026.

Water toys

A water slide drops swimmers straight into the sea, an inflatable Ocean Pool gives them an enclosed patch of water to play in, and SUP boards let a guest paddle along the coast. Snorkelling gear and life jackets are aboard for anybody going into the water, a beach tender runs the party ashore, and fishing or diving can be arranged on request.

Where she cruises

Phuket, in Thailand, is her home port and Visit Panwa Pier is where she takes her guests on, with December to March the months she is most asked for. Her waters are the Andaman side of Thailand, where the limestone cliffs of Phang Nga Bay rise straight out of the sea, the Phi Phi Islands are where The Beach was filmed, and Racha Island, Maiton Island and Coral Island are among the islands she can reach for a swim.

Accommodation and crew

Two double cabins sleep four guests overnight, with two showers and five toilets aboard, and a crew of fifteen runs her, so with four guests aboard the crew far outnumber the people they are looking after.

Comfort under way

Two Cummins K19M diesels move her at 12 knots, with 16 knots available when there is distance to cover.

On deck

Her main deck is 230 square metres and runs from a bar and lunch area that converts, past a lounge, to a beach club with its own way into the sea, sunbeds facing the water, a big swim platform and showers of fresh water for rinsing off after a swim. The front deck carries a sun lounge with an oversized sunbed facing forward and open views of the sea, and the flybridge, 106 square metres on the upper deck, has a DJ booth with the HQ Light and VOID sound system, a dance floor and sun loungers, so a party has room to dance as well as to lie out.

Charter notes

HYP3 is offered for day charter, and while a pair of couples is what she holds overnight, by day she can carry 150 guests, a number that turns her into the venue for a company outing, a gathering of family or a celebration among friends. A day's hire can add a videographer or a birthday cake on request, and a buffet by Yona's chef of handmade sushi, Thai and Mediterranean salads, skewers from the barbecue and desserts made aboard means the whole party can eat without going ashore.
