The Annex Sailing Catamaran

The sailing catamaran The Annex, measuring 58ft (18m), was built in 2013 by Leopard Catamarans and refreshed with a refit in 2020. She features 5 cabins – 5 Queen – for 10 guests, with day charters welcoming 12. A crew of 2 handles sailing operations and guest service with equal skill.

The 2020 refit updated The Annex’s interiors, rigging, and onboard systems while preserving the responsive sailing characteristics that define a Leopard Catamarans catamaran. At 8 knots, she makes comfortable progress between islands and anchorages. Twin-hull stability and shallow draft remain key advantages – guests enjoy a rock-steady platform and access to shallow bays that deeper vessels cannot approach. a swim platform and refreshed cabins make extended stays comfortable and welcoming.

On the Water

8 water toys including two SUP boards, water skis, a wakeboard, towable inflatables, and surf and kite gear keep days active and varied. The 16ft Center Console runs guests to shore for village walks, trailheads, and waterfront restaurants. Learn the basics of sailing or relax on the trampoline net – the crew accommodates both approaches with ease.

Routes & Season

The Annex charters across USVI and British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, repositioning seasonally for the best sailing conditions. The recommended charter window is Jan, Feb, Mar, Dec, when wind patterns and water temperatures align for exceptional sailing.
