SUP Power Catamaran

Two paddleboards travel aboard SUP, which means two of the party can be out on the water under their own power while the boat stays where it is. She is a 45ft (14m) Lagoon power catamaran from 2018.

Water toys

The boards are only part of it: inflatables and a trampoline give the group something to float on and climb back onto beside the boat, and snorkelling gear is aboard for anyone who would rather see what is under the surface than swim over it.

Where she cruises

SUP works out of Simpson Bay, her home port in St Martin, and the coast of St Martin, St Barths and Anguilla all sit within her range, three separate shorelines to anchor off.

Accommodation and crew

A crew of two takes on the running of her, a boat that is at its busiest through December, January, February and March.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 10 knots and will make 14, so the extra speed is there when a bay further along the coast is the better idea.

On deck

A swim platform takes the effort out of getting into the sea and back up again, and she is air-conditioned, with Wi-Fi aboard for anyone who has to stay in touch.

Charter notes

SUP is an easy hire for a group who want their time on the water spent in it rather than beside it, and she takes up to 20 guests aboard by day, so a large party can come along together.
