About Flori
Two 1,150 hp Caterpillar C18 engines give Flori a 13-knot cruise and a 17-knot top speed, the pace of a flybridge motor yacht built for steady, comfortable running rather than a fast passage. Sanlorenzo built her as the SD96 in 2022, and she went through a refit in 2024.
Build and provenance
Flori is an SD96, a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull. Zuccon International Project drew her exterior lines and naval architecture, while Studio Patricia Urquiola handled the interiors. She was delivered in 2022 and refitted in 2024, a build history a surveyor can check against the yard's own records.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep in four cabins, looked after by a crew of five. The full-beam owner's cabin sits on the main deck with its own private terrace.
Performance and engineering
Her 2-metre draught keeps shallower anchorages within reach for a 29-metre yacht, and at 180 gross tonnes she carries the enclosed volume that pairs with a flybridge layout. Twin Caterpillar engines give the cruise and top speed already noted above.
On deck and at anchor
The sky lounge is Flori's signature space: the portside glass panel retracts out of view and the aft doors close up or swing wide, so the room turns from a covered saloon into an open deck depending on the weather. Stabilisers work at anchor as well as under way, and Starlink keeps the whole yacht connected. Seabobs are aboard for guests who want to get in the water.
Where she lies and how to see her
Flori lies at Athens. Boatcrowd sets up the viewing and comes along for it, and once an offer is accepted the survey and sea trial follow before handover. She is part of our charter fleet too, chartering in Greece, so a buyer can spend a week aboard her before deciding to buy.

She is in our charter fleet as well as on the market, so a season can be run against her costs while she is for sale.
Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
