About Ice of London
Five cabins for ten guests is a generous count on a 29-metre yacht, and Ice of London finds room for it through an asymmetric hull that shifts her superstructure off-centre. Sanlorenzo built her in 2025 as an SL96 Asymmetric, a design that opens extra volume on the main deck rather than keeping the superstructure centred.
Build and provenance
Her hull is a monohull, built in fibreglass, and she carries Registro Italiano Navale classification. Stabilisation works both underway and at anchor, using fins together with gyroscopic stabilisers, which keeps her steadier at rest than fins alone would. For a buyer, a 2025 delivery means a nearly new yacht rather than one carrying years of hidden wear.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep in five cabins, with a crew of four looking after them. The owner's suite runs full-beam forward on the main deck with its own dressing area and en-suite bathroom, while the lower deck holds two double cabins and two twin cabins, each with its own bathroom. The off-centre superstructure gives the main saloon extra width, so the living space above feels larger than the hull length alone would suggest.
Performance and engineering
Two 2,216 hp MTU 16V2000 M86 engines give her a 19-knot cruise and 27 knots at full speed, with a range of 320 nautical miles and two 45 kW Mase generators for time at anchor without shore power. Bow and stern thrusters make her easier to manage close to a berth than her length alone would suggest.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a swimming platform and sun deck give direct, easy access to the water, and underwater lights extend that into the evening. WiFi, air conditioning and Starlink keep the boat connected and comfortable whether at a berth or at anchor.

Ice of London lies in Cannes, France. Boatcrowd sets up every viewing and is present for it, and once an offer is accepted we organise the survey and sea trial ahead of handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
