Sanlorenzo SD118 Motor Yacht
About Sanlorenzo SD118
A hidden hatch beneath the staircase lets the owner step from the master suite straight onto the bow deck, bypassing the guest cabins entirely: that is the sort of detail Sanlorenzo built into the SD118. She came off the yard in 2025 as a semi-displacement flybridge motor yacht, and Sanlorenzo SD118 comes to the market through Boatcrowd from a mooring in Italy.
Build and provenance
Sanlorenzo built her in fibreglass as a semi-displacement tri-deck motor yacht, part of the yard's SD line. Zuccon International Project drew the exterior and Piero Lissoni's studio worked the interior alongside the owners, a pairing the yard uses across the range. At 291 gross tons and with a 7.9-metre beam, she carries generous volume both inside and on deck, and being a 2025 delivery means there is no refit history yet, just the build to inspect.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five ensuite cabins, with a crew of six aboard to run her, a crew large enough for ten guests to be looked after without feeling watched. The full-beam master suite sits on the main deck and opens onto the bow through that hidden staircase hatch, while two VIP doubles, another double cabin and a twin cabin fill the lower deck.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,400 hp MAN engines give her a 15-knot cruise, pace enough for day-long hops between anchorages rather than long ocean legs, and stabilisers keep her level both under way and sitting still. A draft of two metres keeps many marinas and anchorages open to her despite her 36-metre length.
On deck and at anchor
A portside balcony off the upper deck lounge opens that room straight to the outside air, and a stern garage folds out into a swim platform and beach club once she is anchored, giving guests a way into the water without crossing the main deck.
Where she lies and how to see her
Sanlorenzo SD118 lies in Italy. Boatcrowd arranges a viewing wherever she is currently moored and joins you for it, and once an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before she changes hands.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
