About Phoenix
Phoenix already earns her keep before a single offer is made: she is active in our own charter fleet, operating out of Simpson Bay across St Martin, St Barths, Anguilla and the Bahamas. Sanlorenzo built the SD112 in 2019, and a buyer weighing her up can charter her before committing to buy, rather than take the specification on faith.
Build and provenance
Phoenix is a Sanlorenzo SD112, delivered in 2019 with a GRP hull and superstructure, a combination that keeps upkeep more predictable than a mixed-material build. Her layout runs across three decks, adding a skylounge as a second interior living area above the main salon.
Layout and accommodation
Five cabins hold twelve guests, with the owner's full-beam suite commanding the main deck and four further guest spaces below. A crew of five attends them, enough hands to serve without strain.
Performance and engineering
Twin 1,600 hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines give Phoenix a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 15, figures that mark her out as a semi-displacement yacht built for steady, efficient passages rather than for outright pace. Her GRP construction keeps that efficiency consistent across a range of sea states.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge holds a spa pool and sunpads as the yacht's main outdoor gathering point, and a balcony opens up additional space at anchor, the kind of feature that turns a cabin into its own private deck.

Phoenix lies in West Palm Beach. We set up viewings there and stay involved through each one; a survey and sea trial come next once an offer is accepted. She is also part of our charter fleet, so a buyer can book time aboard through her Caribbean programme before deciding to buy.

She is in our charter fleet as well as on the market, so a season can be run against her costs while she is for sale.
Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
