Build and provenance
The hull and superstructure are Kevlar and carbon-reinforced GRP, classed by RINA to Unrestricted Navigation for pleasure use, with an 8.2-metre beam that widens the interior beyond what her length alone would suggest. The exterior lines came from Maiora's Centro Stile working with Studio Quartostile, while Fossati Design Bureau penned the interior. She is a used yacht from 2017 with no refit recorded, so a survey will read as a delivery-condition inspection rather than a history of repairs.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, with five crew aboard to look after them, close to a one-to-one ratio that keeps service unhurried. The main saloon and formal dining room sit on the main deck, lit by glass set into the bulwarks, and the sundeck above carries an aft Jacuzzi under a convertible hardtop. Crew quarters sit forward and low, kept apart from the guest decks.
Performance and engineering
Twin 2,600 hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines give the Maiora 36X DP a 25-knot cruise and a 30-knot top speed, figures that put her in planing territory rather than slow displacement running. Zero-speed Seakeeper stabilisers work at anchor as well as underway, so a night off a beach stays level. At her economical cruising speed, she carries enough fuel for extended passages without constant refuelling stops.
On deck and at anchor
A beach club opens at the stern and the swimming platform sits at the waterline, while private balconies fold open from the cabins below. The flybridge adds a further entertaining deck above, with Wi-Fi throughout, and a watermaker keeps the tanks topped without a trip to the fuel dock. Bow and stern thrusters, underwater lights and teak decks finish the practical side of life aboard.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
