Lady Betty Motor Yacht
About Lady Betty
Three engines and water-jet propulsion, instead of shafts, are what take Lady Betty to thirty-two knots flat out and a 25-knot cruise. Maiora delivered her in 2024, a 35 Exuma measuring thirty-seven metres, and the water-jets are also what let her draw only 1.4 metres despite her size. A shallow draft paired with that much speed is the kind of engineering choice that matters most to a buyer planning time in skinnier water.
Build and provenance
She is a Maiora 35 Exuma, a monohull flybridge motor yacht delivered new in 2024, built in GRP with a GRP superstructure. At thirty-seven metres, a beam of 7.9 metres and 301 gross tons, Lady Betty carries her size on a hull built for exactly the speed her three engines produce.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep in five cabins, with a crew of five in their own quarters, keeping service separate from guest life. The owner's suite spans the full beam of the boat, and a lift connects the decks. Interiors were designed by Acube Design, with oversized windows bringing natural light through the main living spaces.
Performance and engineering
Her three engines are MAN units rated at 2,000 hp each, driving the water-jets that give Lady Betty a 25-knot cruise and 32 knots at full throttle. That combination of triple engines and jet drive is what makes her 1.4-metre draft possible, useful for a buyer who wants access to shallower anchorages.
Where she lies and how to see her
La Spezia is her home port. A viewing with Boatcrowd means someone from Boatcrowd is standing on deck with you, not just booking the slot, and the survey and sea trial begin the moment an offer on Lady Betty is accepted.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
