Build and provenance
Her hull and superstructure are Kevlar and carbon-reinforced GRP, classified by RINA to a standard that meets the Malta Code for charter-compliant vessels. Studio Quartostile drew the exterior lines with Maiora's own Centro Stile, and the same in-house studio is credited with the interior. She is a used yacht from 2018, with no refit recorded.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across six cabins, including two main-deck Master suites forward, with four further cabins below arranged as two convertible twins and two doubles. Six crew look after them from quarters set apart in the bow. The main deck carries the saloon and a formal dining room lit by glass set into the bulwarks, while the flybridge above adds a second dining and lounging deck under a hard top.
Performance and engineering
Twin 2,600 hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines give the Maiora 36X DP 2018 a 23-knot cruise and a 27-knot top speed. Zero-speed Seakeeper stabilisers hold her level at anchor as well as underway. Fuel capacity runs to 21,500 litres, enough for the kind of range a private owner uses without thinking about the next fuel dock.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, the Jacuzzi sits above and the swimming platform below, with the flybridge giving guests a second open-air room. A Williams 520 Sport Jet tender stows aboard for days out, and a watermaker keeps her self-sufficient between marina stops. Bow and stern thrusters ease her into a berth, and underwater lights and teak decks round out the finish.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
