Svetlana II Motor Yacht
About Svetlana II
Owning an ice-classed explorer means owning her systems as much as her hull, and Svetlana II is built for exactly that kind of self-sufficiency. AVA Yachts is finishing her now, in steel, to Ice Class B1+, with the specification for the remaining work still open to the buyer who takes her on. She is due for delivery in 2027.
Build and provenance
AVA Yachts designed and is building Svetlana II as a steel-hulled motor yacht with composite topside work, built to their own naval architecture. She is classed Ice Class B1+, a level of reinforcement built for first-year ice rather than open water alone, which is the first thing a high-latitude owner has to be able to answer for. She carries no refit history: what a buyer takes on is a build in progress, finished to order rather than inherited from a previous owner.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep in a master suite and three further cabins, with two crew in their own cabins below. Her 7.2-metre beam is wide for a 27-metre hull, which is what gives the saloon its high ceilings and the rectangular windows their scale; portholes lower down keep a more seamanlike look where the cabins sit.
Performance and engineering
Her twin 750 hp Scania engines settle Svetlana II into a 9-knot cruise, with fuel tankage behind a range of around 4,500 nautical miles, enough for a season at high latitude without chasing fuel docks. A 50 kW generator and a 27 kW generator between them cover hotel loads under way or silent at anchor, and 8,200 litres of fresh water support the same long stays away from a marina.
Where she lies and how to see her
Svetlana II is taking shape now at AVA Yachts' yard in Antalya, Turkey, ahead of a 2027 delivery. A visit there can be arranged through Boatcrowd, with someone from our side present throughout, and after an offer is accepted the survey and sea trial follow once she is finished and afloat.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
