Romy One Motor Yacht

A hull by J&J Design, cabins furnished by Nikolas Gassmann and artworks by Axel Crieger give Romy One her own character: a 70ft (21m) motor yacht from Prestige Yachts, dating from 2020, with an electrically opening sunroof and a wide sport flybridge.

Comfort under way

Twin Volvo IPS drives make her easy to place in a berth and hold a 20-knot cruise with 27 knots available, on 220 litres of fuel an hour. A stabiliser takes the edge off the motion for anyone who feels the sea.

On deck

The aft deck holds a dining area and the foredeck cushioned sunpads. Designer stairs climb to the flybridge under its roof top, where forward-facing seats for four convert to sunpads and a mini galley with a built-in electric grill keeps the cooking outdoors; a large table gathers the group.

Water toys

An 11ft Williams jet tender takes guests ashore, and two paddleboards put two people on the water at once. Water skis, a towable donut, snorkelling gear, an iAQUA water scooter and a Yamaha Seawing II are aboard too.

Where she cruises

Antibes, in the south of France, is home port for Romy One, and her cruising takes in France, Monaco and Italy, three coastlines within her range.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight: two staterooms with queen beds and private bathrooms, and two twin cabins whose single beds join to make doubles, three bathrooms in all. The master runs to 30 m², with a walk-in closet and a skylight with an electric shade. A captain and a cook stewardess crew her, July and August being her peak months.

Charter notes

Romy One suits a family or friends, with the twin cabins ready for children or extra guests. Charter runs by the week or over three days, and a day hire brings up to 16 aboard, so more can join without staying the night.
