Sirocco I Motor Yacht

Sirocco I burns 110 litres an hour at a 20-knot cruise, drawn from a pair of Volvo IPS diesels that will take her to 35 knots, and she is a Pardo motor yacht of 43ft (14m), built in 2021.

Accommodation and crew

Two cabins sleep four guests, a double and a twin, and a single crew member runs her. Both cabins are air-conditioned, which keeps them cool, and Wi-Fi covers the boat.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers work both under way and at zero speed, so there is less roll on the move and less again while she lies at anchor.

On deck

Her outdoor galley carries two induction hobs and a barbecue, with two fridges and an icemaker alongside, and the cockpit has its own dining table, so meals are cooked and eaten in the open air. A bimini and a T-top shade the deck, the sunbeds are generous, a deck shower washes off the salt, and the hydraulic swimming platform lowers to the sea, which makes getting in and out of the water a short step.

Water toys

A tender with an electric engine runs ashore, and a Seabob, water saddles, a large floating mat and snorkelling equipment stay aboard for the swimming; her peak months are July and August.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Corsica, in France, and she cruises in the waters of France and Italy.

Charter notes

Sirocco I suits two couples, and a day's hire takes as many as 12 people aboard, so a larger group can come out on the water with her.
