Flying Spur Power Boat

Twelve guests can be aboard Flying Spur for a day on the water, and her hydraulic aft platform drops to sea level so climbing in and out of the sea is easy for all of them.

Comfort under way

Volvo Penta IPS drives take this 55ft (17m) Okean power boat to 25 knots at a cruise and 35 knots at the top, on 200 litres an hour, and she carries stabilisers that work under way as well as at anchor, so she rolls less both moving and stopped.

On deck

Her beam leaves room for open-sided balconies and a beach club area, which keeps the water close at hand, and there are sunbeds aft and forward for anyone who wants to lie in the sun.

Water toys

Snorkelling gear travels with her, so what lies under the surface is part of the day too.

Where she cruises

Flying Spur's home port is St Tropez in France, and her day-cruising runs along the Riviera coast of France and over to Monaco, which gives two coastlines to choose between.

Accommodation and crew

Two cabins, each with a double bed, sleep four overnight; both are air-conditioned, and there is a shower and WC aboard along with Wi-Fi. A single crew member runs her.

Charter notes

For two couples she is straightforward, with peak demand in July and August, and she is offered both by the day and for three days, so a day hire or a short cruise both fit the group.
