Voyager Motor Yacht
About Voyager
Three crew look after a maximum of six guests aboard Voyager, so there is a crew member for every two people on board. Built by Ocean Alexander in 2019, this 90ft (28m) motor yacht carries a beach club, which puts swimming and the water within easy reach of the group.
On deck
Sunpads and an exterior bar sit outdoors, and a swim platform makes getting into the sea and back aboard straightforward. An outdoor cinema and a karaoke set-up mean the evening can stay aboard rather than go ashore, while Starlink and WiFi keep messages and streaming working, and air conditioning holds the cabins at the temperature you set.
Water toys
A Williams Sport Jet 435 tender runs the party ashore, and two paddleboards and two single-seat kayaks let pairs of guests head off under their own power. Snorkelling gear is carried for looking below the surface, and the captain flies a drone.
Where she cruises
Juneau is her home port, and she works the coast and channels of Alaska, at her busiest from June through August.
Accommodation and crew
Three cabins take six guests overnight, and six is also the number she carries for a day on the water. Sleeping is split between a king bed and twin berths.
Comfort under way
Stabilisers cut the roll, so moving between anchorages is easier on anyone who feels the motion. She cruises at 12 knots and has 27 knots available when there is ground to cover.
Charter notes
Voyager suits a family or a group of friends of up to six, and the food aboard is vegetarian. She takes a full week or a three-day charter, so a short break in Alaska is as workable as a long one.
