Aveline Motor Yacht
About Aveline
Scuba diving is the first thing to know about Aveline: she is equipped for it, and guests who would rather stay at the surface find snorkelling gear and fishing aboard instead. Roberto Del Re shaped the exterior of this 105ft (33m) motor yacht, Maiora built her in 2006 and finished her interior, and a refit followed in 2017.
Accommodation and crew
Eight guests sleep in her four cabins, with five crew aboard to look after them through the week. Air conditioning runs throughout and Wi-Fi reaches the cabins, while a cinema with films on demand and satellite television gives the evenings somewhere to settle indoors.
Comfort under way
She cruises at 21 knots with 26 knots in reserve, and her stabilisers carry on working with the yacht stopped, which eases the roll at anchor as well as under way.
On deck
The swim platform turns getting into the sea and back out again into a step rather than a climb, and her busiest months fall between December and March.
Water toys
A Seabob takes a swimmer along below the surface, and there are SUP boards, a kayak, a wakeboard and inflatable toys for the water around her. A beach tender runs the party ashore.
Where she cruises
Palawan, in the Philippines, is her home port, and she is the longest yacht based there. Aveline works the waters of the Philippines and cruises in Malaysia as well.
Charter notes
She makes sense for a family or a set of friends whose week is built around the water, divers most of all. She charters for a week, for three days, or for a day hire, when twelve guests can be aboard.
