Gatsby Motor Yacht
About Gatsby
Pietro Mingarelli drew her lines with the Filippetti Yacht design team, and Gatsby belongs to the yard's Navetta line, a 100ft (30m) motor yacht launched in 2014 and refitted in 2022.
On deck
The whole of the upper deck belongs to the owner, and its terrace is big enough to sit out with an open view across the water on every side. Her swim platform sits at sea level, so getting in for a swim and back aboard afterwards is straightforward.
Water toys
A 17ft tender handles the trips ashore, while inflatable toys and snorkelling gear come along for the swimming stops.
Where she cruises
Gatsby's home port is Split, in Croatia, and she cruises both Croatia and Montenegro, so two coastlines are open to her rather than a single stretch.
Accommodation and crew
Six cabins sleep twelve guests in four doubles and two twins: the master suite has a two-room ensuite, a dressing room and an office, the VIP is on the main deck, and four further ensuite cabins are on the lower deck. The contemporary main saloon is large, with a dining table for meals indoors. A captain and four crew run her, and twelve is also the most she can carry by day.
Comfort under way
Zero-speed stabilisers work at anchor as well as under way, which holds the roll down when she is stopped in a bay, and she cruises at 14 knots with 20 knots available.
Charter notes
Gatsby suits a family or two couples, her peak months falling in July and August, and she is hired by the week with a minimum of three days; her guest areas were drawn oversized, which leaves twelve people aboard room to settle.
