Eolia Motor Yacht

A 2023 refit brought this 85ft (26m) Ferretti up to date, and her twin MAN engines use 115 litres of fuel an hour. Eolia is a Navetta 26 motor yacht, launched in 2009.

Water toys

Her 13ft tender covers runs ashore, and the toys aboard give a group several ways into the water: a pair of Seabob F5S, two SUP boards and a kayak, water skis, a wakeboard and a banana towable, with snorkelling and fishing gear stowed as well. Two boards mean two paddlers can set off at the same time.

Where she cruises

Eolia keeps her home port at Amalfi in Italy and a second base in Sardinia, which gives guests two points in Italy to join her, with July and August her busiest months.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins take twelve guests overnight, and twelve is also the most she carries for a day on the water. The layout runs to a master, two VIP cabins and two twins with pullman berths, and a crew of four looks after her.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 11 knots with 17 knots at the top end, which is unhurried travel rather than fast work.

On deck

The flybridge is where most of her outdoor life happens, with a jacuzzi and a table for eating in the open air, and there is a second dining table on the aft deck, so a group can sit down outside in two different places. A sunbed at the bow adds another place to lie down, and inside the salon has a sitting area of its own.

Charter notes

Eolia suits two couples sharing a charter, or a family – an easy hire for a group that wants the sea close, since her swim platform makes getting in and out of the water simple.
