Daeni Motor Yacht

Two Infinity PRO Seascooters travel with Daeni, so two of the party can ride them together, and she carries fishing gear as well, for a line over the side wherever she lies. She is a 59ft (18m) Ferretti motor yacht delivered in 2023.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six guests, with a king bed in the first, a queen in the second and twin beds in the third, and by day she can carry twelve. A crew of two, an experienced captain among them, looks after the party, and the layout was planned around families. Inside she is bright and feels larger than her length would suggest, and a Bose sound system, a PlayStation and board games keep a party of all ages occupied.

Comfort under way

Daeni uses 160 litres of fuel an hour, cruises at 26 knots and reaches 28, and the noise and vibration reduction built into her keeps the running close to silent, so the engines stay in the background while she moves.

On deck

Her decks are generous, with a large area given over to lying in the sun and a sun awning for shade, and the height of her season falls in July and August.

Water toys

Beyond the seascooters she carries a pair of paddleboards for two paddlers at once, a water ski and a towable donut to be pulled behind a boat, and snorkelling kit for a look at the seabed, seven toys in all, and her tender takes the party ashore and back.

Where she cruises

Dubrovnik in Croatia is her home port, and from there she works Croatia and Montenegro, and her shallow draft lets her go into tucked-away coves and small private bays.

Charter notes

Daeni is a boat for a family, and equally for friends travelling as a group, with a week or a three-day hire both on offer, and her beach club means the step from deck to sea is short for anyone aboard.
