Duje I Motor Yacht

A complete refit in 2016 reworked Duje I inside, and this Fairline Targa 62 carries two salons: the upper with a U-shaped sofa, a dining table and windows wrapping round for the light and the view out, the lower quieter and more elegant, with a crescent leather sofa, a second dining table and the galley to starboard. Mood lighting and custom joinery run through her, and both salons have a television and seating to spread out in.

On deck

The swim platform puts the sea a step away, so swimming from her is a matter of walking down rather than climbing.

Water toys

An 11ft tender handles the runs ashore, and snorkelling gear travels with her for the swimming stops in between.

Where she cruises

Split, in Croatia, is her home port, and she works the islands of Croatia and the run south to Montenegro, two countries of coastline and harbours within her range.

Accommodation and crew

Three en-suite cabins lie fore and aft of the lower salon, each air-conditioned, and three double beds sleep six. A crew of two runs her, so the cooking, the tender and the boat itself stay off the guests' hands, and Wi-Fi reaches through her for anyone who needs it.

Comfort under way

Two MAN engines drive the 62ft (19m) motor yacht at a 25-knot cruise with 34 knots in hand, so moving on to another anchorage is quick work.

Charter notes

As a rental she suits a family or a group of friends, July and August her peak months, and by day she can carry 12 – room for others to join those staying aboard.
