Traveler Motor Yacht

A refit in 2026 is the newest thing about Traveler, a 50ft (15m) motor yacht built by Custom Marine in 2016.

Where she cruises

Hamilton is her home port and Bermuda is the extent of her cruising, so guests join her in town and are on the water as soon as the lines come off. She works Bermuda year-round, with December, January, February and March the busiest stretch.

Accommodation and crew

A single cabin sleeps two overnight and three crew run her, which means more people looking after the boat than sleeping aboard it. She is air-conditioned and carries Wi-Fi, so a longer stay asks for nothing to be given up.

Comfort under way

Traveler cruises at 9 knots and reaches 12 at most, a gentle pace rather than a rush from place to place.

On deck

Her swim platform sits at water level, so swimming from the boat is a matter of stepping down and climbing back up.

Water toys

A jet ski travels with her for anyone who wants to cover water quickly, two SUP boards let a pair paddle off together, and floating noodles keep the swimming easy. Snorkelling gear and fishing tackle are aboard as well, and the beach tender takes guests ashore.

Charter notes

Traveler suits a couple more than a crowd overnight, and a hire of her can run to a day or half a day with as many as 20 aboard, so a couple can bring friends out on the water for a few hours.
