Santa Clara Motor Sailer

Fishing gear and a Seabob travel with Santa Clara, alongside snorkelling kit, so a guest can go after the fish beneath her or simply drop in and look at them. She is a 91ft (28m) motor sailer from Custom Made, built in 2023.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests, three of them with a double bed and the fourth with twin beds. Six crew look after those eight – a crew nearly as large as the party it serves – and her season is at its height in July and August.

Comfort under way

Santa Clara cruises at 9 knots and can hold 11 at the most, a pace that keeps her passages unhurried.

On deck

A jacuzzi on deck gives the party somewhere warm to sit in the open air, and her swim platform makes getting into the water and back out again a simple thing, which matters on a boat that carries this many toys.

Water toys

Two stand-up paddleboards mean two people can be out on them at the same time, and there are water skis, which want a boat to tow them; her 13ft tender does that and also runs the party ashore.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Split, and she cruises Croatia and Montenegro, so a charter aboard her need not stay inside a single country's waters.

Charter notes

Santa Clara is a hire for a family or for a party of friends, and each gets the same thing from her: eight berths for the nights and room for twenty aboard by day, so the group that sleeps on board is not the limit of the group that can spend a day on her.
