Maxita Superyacht
About Maxita
Four paddleboards and a Seabob travel with Maxita, so four guests can paddle away from her at the same time while the Seabob carries a single rider. She is a 121ft (37m) superyacht from the Custom Made yard, completed in 2024, and the toys she carries are the first sign of a yacht fitted out for people who mean to be in the sea rather than beside it.
Accommodation and crew
Six cabins sleep twelve guests, two with double beds and four with twin beds, so two couples can each take a double and still leave four twin cabins for the rest of a family. A crew of eight looks after the twelve, and air conditioning in the cabins keeps them cool for sleeping.
Comfort under way
Maxita cruises at 10 knots and can reach 14 knots, so a longer passage between anchorages can be shortened when the crew chooses to press on.
On deck
A swim platform brings Maxita's deck down to the waterline, so getting into the sea, and back out of it, is a step rather than a jump.
Water toys
Beyond the paddleboards and the Seabob she carries water skis, which put a tow on offer, and snorkelling gear that opens the seabed beneath her to view, and a 13ft tender runs the party ashore.
Where she cruises
Maxita's home port is Split in Croatia, and she works the waters of Croatia and Montenegro, so a charter aboard her has two countries' coasts to draw on rather than a single stretch of shore.
Charter notes
She is let by the week, with July and August her busiest months, and suits two couples as readily as a family. The twelve who sleep aboard are also the most she carries by day, so the group that boards her is the whole group for the length of the hire, never enlarged by a day party.
