Rare Gem Motor Yacht

Three Seabobs and an E-foil ride in the toy store aboard Rare Gem, so three guests can be in the water together while another takes the foil. She is a 94ft (29m) Custom Line motor yacht, built in 2022.

Water toys

A 14ft Williams tender takes guests ashore. Water skis, a wakeboard and a towable donut suit anyone who wants to be towed, and a Flyboard is aboard too, while two SUP boards put two paddlers out at their own pace and a kayak does the same seated. An inflatable sofa floats for swimmers, and snorkelling gear and fishing tackle mean a swim stop offers more than a swim.

Where she cruises

Rare Gem's home port is St Tropez in France, and she ranges along the coast of France, across to Monaco and on into Italy, three countries a group can reach from the water.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins are arranged as a master, two VIP suites and two twins. Eleven guests sleep aboard, with a crew of five looking after them.

Comfort under way

She is a displacement build, cruising at 12 knots with 16 at the top of her range, so ground is covered steadily rather than quickly.

On deck

Her wide-body layout gives three decks, over 2 metres of headroom and open deck at bow and stern, with a lunch area on the upper deck and a large sundeck under open sky. Windows set into the hull bring daylight below, and the swim platform makes getting in and out of the sea easy.

Charter notes

Two couples sharing or a family fit Rare Gem best, and a week is the usual length of hire, with three days the shortest stay and July and August her busiest months. When she is out for the day she can carry twelve, so the party can be larger than the number sleeping aboard.
