Dawo Superyacht
About Dawo
Two tenders carry guests ashore from Dawo, a 40ft Ribco Venom 40 chase boat on twin engines and a 15ft Pirelli J45, so a second group can leave for the shore without waiting for the first boat to come back. She is a Benetti superyacht of 121ft (37m) that reworks the builder's own Motopanfilo design, delivered in 2025 and newly in the charter fleet, with an interior dressed in Loro Piana fabrics on a quietly nautical colour scheme.
Comfort under way
Dawo cruises at 12 knots with 17 knots available, and her stabilisers work at zero speed as well as under way, which means the roll is checked while she lies at anchor just as it is on a passage between coasts.
On deck
Her whirlpool is on the foredeck beside a wide bank of cushioned sunpads that a canopy can shade, and the sun deck carries more sunpads, a table for eating in the open air and a bar counter. At the stern the transom folds down into a terrace at sea level, the beach club on her lower deck, so going into the water and coming out again is a step rather than a climb, and there is lounge space out there too. Inside, the main saloon is glazed from floor to ceiling along both sides and runs open plan into the dining area, and sliding glass doors open it onto the aft deck.
Water toys
A Yamaha Cruiser HO jet ski seats three, and with two Seabobs, an F5 and an F5s, two stand-up paddleboards and two Awake RÄVIK 3 electric surfboards there are enough craft for several guests to be out on the water at the same time. For a tow she carries three sets of waterskis, two Jobe wakeboards, an inflatable donut and a Jobe Scout Sofa that takes two riders, and snorkelling and fishing gear are aboard for guests who want the water at a slower pace.
Where she cruises
Her home port is Split in Croatia, and Dawo works Croatia, Italy and Greece, so her range takes in three Mediterranean coastlines rather than a single stretch of shore.
Accommodation and crew
Five ensuite cabins sleep eleven guests in a king, two queens, a double that converts to twins, a twin and a Pullman berth. The master suite is on the main deck with his-and-hers bathrooms linked by a walk-through shower, and the guest cabins, two of them VIPs, are on the lower deck. By day she can have twelve aboard, and a crew of seven look after them – July and August are her peak months – so seven crew are behind eleven guests at most.
Charter notes
Dawo suits two couples sharing her or a family who hire a crewed yacht for the water as much as for the deck. For an event she can take 50 guests aboard, and she is a certified RYA training centre for the use of her watersports equipment, so guests can learn the toys aboard rather than needing to arrive already able to use them.
