La Perla Motor Yacht
About La Perla
La Perla was refitted in 2020, and the steel hull beneath that work dates from 1976 – a displacement shape that travels steadily rather than fast. She is a 103ft (39m) motor yacht from the Belena yard, with hull lines by the naval architect Franjo Flesch.
Comfort under way
Her stabilisers stay at work while she is moving, which means less roll for everyone aboard. She cruises at 10 knots, using 95 litres of fuel an hour.
On deck
The sundeck carries a Jacuzzi, with a library and a lounge area beside it for anyone who wants to sit quietly. Aft on the bridge deck, a space becomes an open-air cinema after dark, and the main salon holds the bar and the dining table under wide windows; a swim platform puts the sea a step away.
Water toys
A 13ft tender takes guests ashore from La Perla, and two SUP boards let two paddle at once; water skis, a banana and a donut are aboard for towing, with snorkelling and fishing gear too.
Where she cruises
Dubrovnik is her home port, and she is registered in Croatia. She cruises the islands and port towns of Croatia before carrying on into Montenegro, all of it Adriatic water.
Accommodation and crew
Eight en-suite double cabins sleep sixteen guests on king beds, each cabin air-conditioned and given a private balcony and wide windows on the sea, with Wi-Fi aboard. A crew of nine – July and August are her peak – looks after them.
Charter notes
La Perla suits a large family taking the whole yacht or a group travelling together, and with thirty able to be aboard by day she carries more for a day on the water than she sleeps at night.
