Palma Open Power Boat
About Palma Open
A top speed of 35 knots sits behind Palma Open, so a bay further along the coast is a short run rather than a day's undertaking. She is a power boat of 38ft (12m), built by Bavaria Yachts in 2019, small enough that nothing aboard is more than a few steps away.
Where she cruises
Menorca is her home port and Spain is her cruising ground, with July and August her peak months.
Accommodation and crew
Two cabins, both air-conditioned, sleep four guests overnight, and a crew of two runs her, which gives a crew member for every two guests aboard.
Comfort under way
She cruises at 25 knots, keeping the water between one anchorage and the next short and leaving something in reserve below her top end.
Water toys
A beach tender travels with her for going ashore, and snorkelling gear is aboard, so a swim stop can also be a look at what lies under the boat.
Charter notes
Palma Open suits two couples who want pace, few people aboard and the sea within reach of the deck. She can also be taken on day hire, with up to eight guests, which is the number to keep in mind when friends want to come along: eight on the water by day, four in the cabins at night.
