Utopia Motor Yacht

Three crew look after Utopia – a captain, a deckhand and a stewardess – for a group of no more than six staying aboard. She was built in 2010 and refitted in 2021.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Central, in Hong Kong, and she works the bays and island anchorages of Hong Kong, with Macau within reach across the water. Tai Long Wan is another of the places she runs out to.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six, two of them with double beds and the third with twin berths, and air conditioning and Wi-Fi run throughout, keeping the cabins cool and the group in touch with home. A second stewardess can be added for a larger party.

Comfort under way

Baia Yachts built her as a 70ft (21m) motor yacht, and she cruises at 25 knots with 34 in hand, so the water between anchorages is covered quickly; April, May, October and November are her busiest months.

On deck

Her swim platform gives a flat, low step down to the sea and an easy way back aboard for swimmers.

Water toys

A 10ft RIB tender travels with Utopia, which is what takes the group ashore when she is lying at anchor.

Charter notes

Utopia suits a family or a set of friends travelling together, and she takes a day charter as readily as a night aboard: twelve can be on the water with her for the day, and six of them can stay for the hire of a night.
