Heed Superyacht

Salvagni Architetti designed the interior of Heed, keeping the finishes neutral and letting daylight in through wide windows, so the living spaces stay calm and light. She is an Azimut Grande 35, a 114ft (35m) superyacht built in 2019, with exterior lines drawn by Stefano Righini.

Comfort under way

Heed cruises at 21 knots with 26 in hand, so a change of coast takes less of the day, and her zero-speed stabilisers take the roll out at anchor as well as at speed, July and August being her peak months.

On deck

The jacuzzi sits on the foredeck, ringed by sunpads, and a seating area there takes an informal meal, making the bow somewhere to settle rather than walk through. The bridge deck carries a large dining area under a retractable sunshade, with a bar and more sunbeds on the same deck, so the party can eat, drink and lie in the sun without changing level. She also has a third deck, a further space to entertain in, and her beach club and swim platform put the water a step from the yacht.

Water toys

A 16ft Williams tender goes ashore, and an enclosed Axopar Brabus chaseboat with a driver of its own travels with her as well, so the party is never down to a single boat for getting about. For the water there is a Seadoo jet ski, an E-surf, water skis and a wakeboard, with a banana and a doughnut to be towed behind, and two Jobe paddleboards put two paddlers out at once. Twelve sets of snorkelling equipment mean twelve can go into the water together, a Tiwal sailing boat goes with her, and three Gocycle bikes are there for time ashore.

Where she cruises

Heed's home port is Capri, in Italy, and she keeps a second base at Split, in Croatia, so a guest can join her in either country. Beyond her two bases she cruises Italy more widely, along with France, Monaco and Malta, each a coast of its own to anchor off.

Accommodation and crew

Eleven guests sleep aboard in five cabins, a master, two VIP cabins and two convertibles, and by day she can carry twelve. The master has a private balcony that extends from its window system, giving that cabin a piece of open air of its own. A crew of six looks after them all.

Charter notes

Heed suits two couples or a family, and she is offered for a week's charter or as a three-day hire. For an event she can take 70 guests aboard, so the same yacht that sleeps a family also has room for a large gathering.
