The Dude's Power Boat

A top speed of 45 knots is the first thing to know about The Dude's, because a boat that quick makes short work of the distance between stops. She is a 38ft (12m) Axopar power boat, built in 2021.

Accommodation and crew

A cabin sleeps two guests overnight, and by day she takes eight aboard, so she works for a couple on their own and for a group who want to be out on the water together. A crew of one runs her.

Comfort under way

Her cruising pace is 30 knots – July and August are her peak months – which keeps the time spent moving short.

Water toys

Snorkelling gear comes aboard with her, so a stop over clear water is a chance to get in and look at what lies underneath rather than simply swim.

Where she cruises

The Dude's keeps her home port at Golfe-Juan in France, and her range takes in the coast of France and the water off Monaco.
