Magic Six Motor Yacht

Magic Six came out of the Spanish yard Astondoa as an 82 GLX, and the volume in that hull is what makes an 82ft (25m) motor yacht this roomy inside. She dates from 2004, and a 2021 refit brought a new saloon sofa, fresh flooring on the lower deck and wide double mattresses for the top-deck sunbeds.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 22 knots with 27 available, and burns 400 litres an hour, which means a group can cover distance when they want to see somewhere new.

On deck

The jacuzzi sits on the top deck, along with a dining table and seats and a barbecue, and forward there is a cushioned area for lying in the sun. In the cockpit an alfresco table seats up to ten, so everyone sleeping aboard can eat in the open air.

Water toys

Magic Six carries a 13ft tender for trips ashore, four Yamaha seawings, an inflatable rigid canoe, towable inflatables and snorkelling gear; two SUP boards mean two paddlers can be out at once.

Where she cruises

Split, in Croatia, is her home port, and Venice serves as a second base, which puts the coast of Croatia and that of Italy within charter range.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep in four cabins, each with its own bathroom, and a day toilet serves the main deck. The master is full beam and amidships, the VIP double full beam and aft, and both twin cabins add a pullman berth. A crew of three runs her.

Charter notes

Magic Six is a straightforward hire for two couples or a family, with up to twelve aboard by day and July and August her peak months. Her hydraulic bathing platform, also new in 2021, and the ladder down to it keep getting into the water and back on board easy.
