Diams Motor Yacht

Scuba diving gear travels with Diams, along with snorkelling kit, so a group with divers in it can get under the surface without leaving the boat. She is a 72ft (22m) Astondoa motor yacht, built in 2010 and refitted in 2023.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Cannes, on the Mediterranean coast of France, and she works the waters of France and Monaco, which puts two countries within her range.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests overnight, and for a day on the water she can carry twelve. A crew of two looks after the boat and the people aboard, and air conditioning keeps the cabins cool.

Comfort under way

Diams cruises at 21 knots and will run up to 28, her peak months falling in July and August, so guests can cover a stretch of coast quickly when they want to move.

On deck

A swim platform makes the step into the sea and back aboard an easy affair.

Water toys

Two Seabobs, two paddleboards, two monoskis and two wakeboards come with her, each pair letting two guests go out together, and there is also a kayak, a towable buoy rated for two riders and an inflatable pool. Two folding electric bicycles are aboard as well, and a 16ft tender runs guests ashore.

Charter notes

Diams suits a family or a group of friends hiring the whole boat, with eight sleeping aboard and the water toys doing most of the work of the day. She is also available for day and half-day charter, which brings a larger party than the eight who stay overnight out onto the water with her.
