Resilience Motor Yacht

Water skis, a paddleboard and snorkelling gear travel with Resilience, so a stop in a quiet bay can be spent on the surface of the water or under it. She is an 82ft (25m) motor yacht built by Alalunga in 2006 and given a refit in 2022.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Amalfi, and Italy is the whole of her cruising ground – she stays on the coast of Italy rather than crossing to another country – with July and August the peak of her year.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins take ten guests overnight: two doubles, a twin and two sets of bunks. Three crew run her, and air conditioning in the cabins keeps the nights cool while Wi-Fi reaches through the boat.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 23 knots with 30 in hand, and she uses 500 litres of fuel an hour, so an anchorage further along the shore stays within reach.

On deck

A swim platform brings the sea to within a step of her deck, which makes getting into the water and back out again a simple thing at any stop.

Water toys

A 15ft tender goes with Resilience, so the shore can be reached from an anchorage without lifting her anchor.

Charter notes

Resilience comes crewed on every hire, and she suits two couples travelling together or a family. With twelve aboard by day, a few more can join the swimming without anyone giving up a berth.
